Coworking is often described as a model where different companies share office facilities—workspace, reception areas, pantry, internet, meeting rooms, and utilities. But after running CoWorkSpace for a while, we’ve come to see it as something much more than just a shared office setup. Coworking, to us, is about the relationships we build along the way.
Even though we come from different companies, there's a natural ease in helping each other with the small things—receiving parcels, lending a charger, or covering for someone who stepped out. There’s a quiet reassurance in knowing someone is always around, ready with a nod or a casual chat over coffee.
It’s also about understanding what matters to each other, supporting one another where possible, and respecting the differences that make each of us unique. Over time, the lines between separate companies blur just a little—we might work for different organizations, but in many ways, it feels like we’re all colleagues.
Just last month, someone brought Arnold’s Chicken for tea break, and a group of us sat together, sharing introductions and personal stories—how we got into our industries, what brought us here. Conversations like these turn a workspace into something warmer, a place where work isn't just about deadlines and meetings, but about the people we meet along the way.
On another occasion, just last week, someone bought shepherd’s pie and chicken pie from Chicken Pie Kitchen to welcome a new staff member to their company while also using the opportunity to network with other members.
Those who were invited also brought along Cha Gee, a popular bubble tea brand, making it a casual yet meaningful gathering.
We’re beginning to realize that our strength lies in our coziness—not in being a rigid corporate space, but in creating an environment where healthy connections happen organically.
We don’t have fancy things like pool tables or sleeping pods, but CoWorkSpace reflects what matters most to our members. At the core of it all is the fundamental idea that we can connect, support one another, and win together.
Coworking at CoWorkSpace isn’t just about sharing a space—it’s about creating a community where we can work independently while still being part of something bigger.
